Summer is here! Last Thursday, June 21st, was this year’s summer solstice – the official first day of the summer season. With the start of the summer means the return of some of our favourite television series and the premieres of ones that will soon join that list. Here are 16 New and Returning Series to Watch This Summer.
1. Glow – June 29th
Will Air On: Netflix
Genre: Comedy
Starring: Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Sydelle Noel, Britney Young and Marc Maron.
Synopsis: In 1980s LA, a crew of misfits reinvent themselves as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. A comedy by the team behind “Orange is the New Black.” – Netflix.
2. A Very English Scandal – June 29th

Synopsis: Based on the book of the same name by The New York Times bestselling author Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl, Dark Places), this eight-episode series tells the story of reporter Camille Preaker (Adams) who returns to her small hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. 5. The Outpost – July 10th

11. The Sinner – August 1st

12. Better Call Saul – August 6th

Starring: Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Michael McKean and Giancarlo Esposito.
Synopsis: In Better Call Saul’s fourth season, Chuck’s death catalyses Jimmy McGill’s (Odenkirk) transformation into Saul Goodman. In the wake of his loss, Jimmy takes steps into the criminal world that will put his future as a lawyer – and his relationship with Kim (Rhea Seehorn) – in jeopardy. 15. Fear The Walking Dead – August 12th
