Barbadian photographer and musician, Andre Donawa, has released a photo book entitled Edge of Bim: Seascape Images From Barbados; a collection of Donawa’s favourite photographs he has taken around the coast of Barbados.
The photos in the book were taken over the course of three years.
Donawa explains in his Adobe Spark story:
“The book took a lot longer to create than I first anticipated. Deciding which photos would make it to the book and where to put them was a challenge. I’m glad that I was able to finish…it in time for our 50th Independence Anniversary. It should make a great gift for those returning nationals who want to take a piece of the Barbados experience “The Rock” back with them.”
Back in June, Donawa shared a preview of the book’s slip case on his website.
The book, which comes in hard cover and is 110 pages, is available in two versions; the regular version for $129 BBD and the deluxe version, which is signed and comes with a slip case and a pass for downloading field recordings of ocean and wild life sounds from around the island, for $150 BBD.
The book is available from Brown Sugar Restaurant in Aquatic Gap, St. Michael.
