Kaetan desu! (*≧▽≦)
I’m back after a long break! Happy New Year!!!! I hope I didn’t keep you waiting for too long! My sincerest apologies if I did! So! Without any further ado, let’s jump back into the action!
When we saw the last episode, after a long string of back and fourths in what seems like a never-ending tie, Karasuno finally managed to break a point away from Shiratorizawa in an epic battle of determination and strength between the two sides.
This new episode starts off….with a flashback? Ugh…..this had better not be a full episode long. We are shown when Daichi, Suga, Asahi, fresh out of junior high school first join the Karasuno school team out of their admiration for the team they saw that played at Nationals. They watch as the team they once admired deteriorates in front of their eyes from their lack of practice matches since coach Ukai left. The three try to bring the team together, but it proves too late by the time the tournament (Inter-High) comes around and Karasuno is knocked out in the second round. Daichi remembers the captain’s last piece of mind being that if a chance for the team to get stronger in the years to come, to grab it.
We flash back to the present day and game…(^_^ yay) Karasuno are pulling out all these new moves and defense strategies, but Tendo points out that it looks as though Kageyama is getting exhausted from having touched the ball too much, but he shrugs it off. Shiratorizawa nearly gets match point when Ushijima serves but Nishinoya saves them (just barely) giving Asahi the chance to score a point bringing it back for Karasuno.
Trying to take advantage of Kageyama’s exhaustion, Tendo tries to look for holes, but it proves fatal when Hinata’s body moves too far to the right for a short ball, but still manages to intercept it with his left hand scoring the point and the set point. The Shiratorizawa team can’t believe it and neither can anyone else. Karasuno playing a fourth set has never occurred and Daichi is determined to see it through to the end. The score is now tied at four games a piece. See you for the next ep!
Ja ne!
